The concession agreement included a plan to develop both airports through construction of a new passenger terminal building at each site and other associated infrastructure, which was started immediately. The new passenger terminal at Pafos International Airport opened in November 2008, and at Larnaka it was opened in November 2009. The construction contract is the biggest ever in the Republic, with the Build-Operate-Transfer project being the first privatization of its kind in Cyprus.

The company offers passenger and cargo transportation, web check in, car hire and passenger assistance. Both airports handle over 10 million passengers annually.

Hermes Airports Ltd is an international consortium of 9 shareholders, among which there are Cypriot and international companies.
