The University of Nicosia (UNIC) is the largest university in Cyprus. It is a private university, with main campus located in Nicosia, and study centres in Athens, Bucharest and NYC. UNIC includes the School of Business, School of Education, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Law, Medical School and the School of Sciences and Engineering. Currently there are more than 12,000 students from over 70 countries studying in the University.

The University of Nicosia has partnership programs with the St George’s, University of London, University of Zagreb, MGIMO UNiversity, Hellenic Open University and some others. In 2019, UNIC was ranked by QS World University Rankings as No.91 among the top 100 universities in the Emerging Europe and Central Asia (EECA) Region. Also, it is the first university in the European Union which received 5-star rating for Online/Distance Learning.
